On Sunday things got off to a great start with notable results in the 1/32nd Production Individual races with wins for Stephen Siddall in the B Final and Paul Shepherd in the A Final, this win was enough for Paul to win the overall BSL 1/32nd Production Championship for the 5th consecutive year, a great achievement as he needed the win today to beat Martin Ellis who had led the championship leading into the final race, Martin finished second in the championship. Chris Green's result in the B final ensured his victory in the Novice Falcon Championship.

The 1/24th Team was also going to be a close run thing for the overall championships with the team of "Hot Shots", Martin Ellis and Chris Green leading "SCD Roadhogs", Paul Shepherd and Chas Keeling in the points. After 80 minutes of racing SCD Roadhogs won the event. Father and son team of "Dad's Taxi", Stephen and Matthew Siddall produced their best ever team result in 2nd despite a valiant effort from the young 11 year old National Production Champion Matthew, who for the first time had the instructions from his Dad to "go for it!" instead of "be careful!" fell just 6 laps short of the required target. This 2nd place was enough to relegate the Hot Shot's team into 4th overall. These results meant that SCD Roadhogs won the Team Championship by just 1 point from Hot Shots, a very popular but also poignant win as Paul and Chas have raced together as SCD for many years, the BSL rules mean that team must now part company. Next season will not quite be the same without the SCD pairing, congratulations and commiserations to you both!.
